    Thanks user10022 for your first post. If you're connected with Triax directly (or indirectly through distribution of this product) what issues does this software download address? Is it related to recording usage?

    Downloaded and upgraded my Triax TR 112 via USB. Upgrade file path was:
    /udska1/PVR/pesi_ireland_r5892_13Jan2012_b.bin
    Took stated 3 minutes approx to Read Data - Erase Flash - Update Flash - Restart System.

    Main Menu/Settings/Version was almost identical before/after upgrade apart from 'Build Date':
    H/W Version (no change): dvbt_evb_V02
    S/W Version (no change): PESI_IRL_v0.5892
    F/W Version (no change): 1_0_16777216_537921585
    Build Date (date changed from 03/17/2011): 01/13/2012 13:48:31
    Model Number: TR 112
    Triax helpline telephone number: 00 44 1443 778 910

    Addresses two issues in particular....
    • Improves accuracy of EPG recording
    • Prevents box going into and getting stuck in standby (very rare but happend occassionaly)
    Procedure.....

    1.Format USB Stick to FAT32
    2.Unzip and Load latest Software on to a memory stick
    3.Power up the TR112 Receiver
    4.Insert the USB stick fully into the slot located at the back of the TR112 receiver. Wait approximately 5 seconds, You will see a message saying "Has found storage device".
    5.Press Menu on the remote Control, goto "Setting", "Upgrade"
    6.Select "USB Upgrade" and press Enter, Locate the upgrade file on the USB Stick (.bin), then press Enter.

    DO NOT SWITCH OFF OR REMOVE USB STICK
    This will take approximately 3 mins.

    7.The TR112 Receiver will restart, you can now remove the USB stick and retune the TR112 Receiver.

    Will give this a go. Started a thread a while back about the recording/playback issues...

    Although I am tempted to leave it just to see if the update will be made available over the air :)

    Anyone able to confirm if this fixes the issue of recordings set more than 24 hours in advance failing?

    Help, I've forgotten my master password and I seem to remember from somewhere that it is possible to bypass with a new hidden one from somewhere. I tried what I thought was the correct one when the receiver was acting up on recording and when the epg wouldn't work and so I thought reset. Can anyone help?

    Have you tried the default 0000(4 zero) code????
