How long for Lume to activate

Hi

Just wondering, how long of an exposure does it take to get the lume activated?

Got my Glycine and have seen pics of a stunning lume but I cant see it yet

Is a day or two needed to properly activate a strong lume ?

you probably know this already but just in case...I believe some of those stunning lume pictures of watches are photos taking with a longer exposure time so more light from the luminous material gets in at the light sensor/film

this in effect makes the lume look a lot better in a photo than it ever would to our eyes.....does the seconds hand look blurry in the photos?

again apologies if you know this already etc

If you're just sitting at home, faintly illuminated by these new-fangled energy saving bulbs that have been wished upon us and you're switching off the lights expecting your new watch to glow in the dark ...it won't

You'd have to hold the watch right to the bulb for about 30 secs to get the lume going.

Also letting your eyes adjust to the darkness will make it appear brighter.
