I come across Japanese Knotweed (Fallopia japonica) up and down. It's an aquatic invasive species. There's an invasive species app free to download available for smartphones that gives a little info on them all.

It is BVX alright. I think he held onto the drop of milk or maybe even improved it. And he wasn't hard calved. From memory, probably not the biggest bull but I saw some nice thick stock off him.

Used him before too/ Wasn't he the bull with the harness round his waist at the front of the CH for a few years, on the book?

I've gotten into the habit of asking our AI man what he thinks.
Got us 2 sets of twins within 4 days this year

female vet maybe, pulling a calf or a c-section can be sweaty business in the calving shed. Didn't one of our most famous farmers get caught in the hayshed with Fidelma

The picture of the bull had ribbon around him alright. Red/white/blue if I recall correctly.

I wouldn't put twins down to just the AI man.

Well unlike a lot of farmers in Ireland I have now identified my farm successor. She is about 24 hours old and just over 8 pounds and I know by the way she has taken over so far that she has to be the woman for the job:)
