St Pats Freshers Week

    I'm heading to st pats to do primary teaching and was just wondering what goes on during freshers week/whats the social life like? Not a big party-goer and just wondering if i'll survive without going out too much???:confused:

    Welcome to Pats :D
    Nothing much happens during freshers week - registration and orientation is on next week. You'll be brought around shown rooms, tours, few talks you know. Then the following week lectures start. There will probably be a couple of themed nights - Quinns and the Big Tree will most likely be some of the venues. You don't have to go to everything but you probably should make most of your free time as it will get hectic over the semester, plus best time to make friends and meet new people. Go to the like of county colours and that.
