Smoking and Hangovers

I smoke most nights when I drink, for the last year and a half or so. Usually go through about 10-15 a night, depending how long I'm out. Always noticed that hangovers are twice as bad after smoking. Any idea the reason for this, and any ways to combat it? Does it make you more dehydrated, or is it a side effect of…

I have no idea,my smoking and drinking have always gone hand in hand

i am told the hangovers are worse by part time smokers

I don't think there is a definitive answer as to whether smoking does make a hangover worse, though there is a lot of anecdotal evidence to suggest it does (much of it incoherent :-))
