New Combo PVR wanted

    So Iv had a combo box and its done a grand job but now im looking for a Combo PVR box, that has an EPG, twin tuners and large hard drive and very easy to use since its for my parents.

    Am i asking for to much?

    Yes. Don't think there is any yet. I have asked similar questions in the past 12-18 months and have not found one yet. Have a look at the Walker models. They seem to be the nearest to the Holy Grail, but are not problem-free, going on the threads here.

    The Amiko Alien2 with an External USB HDD will do what you want. The USB HDD can be a socket powered one - it doesn't have to be one with an external power source

    Yes, Twin Satellite Tuners and one Terrestrial. Twin Satellite tuners allow for one programme to be recorded while watching another. Obviously, you can do the same on a single Terrestrial tuner.

    And you can obviously also even record a Sat and Terr broadcast simultaneously too
