coming from Swords, Ballymun road was closed due to an oil spill/accident, all the traffic appeared to have migrated to the N1

Well i'm just counting the time till I can go home. Im in agony all day, woke up and my back was in spasm. So, perhaps it is envy on my part!!

(It is days like today I am glad of the autobox, driving home in a manual would have been torture. Think I am getting old!!)

Was parked in a service station and saw a few Astra's and them saw the owners going to their cars and realised I drive an old persons car, they were all in their 70's 80's :( At least they have good taste in cars :D

Having already ruined my back at the ripe old age of 22 I can personally say, driving a manual with any sort of back pain/injury is the male equivalent of child birth :pac: I had to drive myself to hospital once after tearing a muscle in my back, longest half hour of my life

I had to drive home after twisting my left ankle once. Tried right foot clutching and failed, after that I spent most of my time in 2nd.
Only time I've wanted an auto.

Once crashed my motocross bike into a bridge, broke my wrist, peeled most of the skin off my right hand, blood coming from everywhere!
Had to walk three miles to my house where I'd left my phone because I was always afraid of loosing it. Longest hours walk ever :)

Just before I hit the ground (I cleared the guts of 20ft) I remembered thinking god this is going to hurt bad :o

I drove from limerick to nenagh with a broken back......I win:D

No problem with the gearbox, I just kept having to stop because I couldnt breathe. I parked my car, trailer and mangled quad outside a&e and hobbled in in my filthy motocross gear, you should have seen the look on their faces:pac:

The gear only stops you from getting seriously injured ;)

Edit: I had all my gear on and I crushed a vertebrae, imagine if I hadnt...........

Amazing what you can do when you have to! I picked up william's quad and threw it away when he rolled it over on top of himself into the river.

    Yeah.........when I say "lifted" I mean robbed :P

Thankfully I've never had a situation where I had to lift a car off someone.

Robbed is such a dirty word, I prefer to call it "permanently borrowing" :pac:
