We had one a few years ago. I would factory her now but back then couldn't afford to. My father got me to put a ring and a chain in her. Cured her immediately took off chain after a few days but left in ring as a reminder. A chain as an earth attached to the nose will stop her going under and she can't lift it out of the way to jump.
You prob have a ring on hand as you'd be ringing bulls anyway

by any chance has she horns? 35 years ago we were feeding at the pit face with an electric bar across, and a horned cow learned to hold the live bar with her horn and push it in and eat away. must be good insulating qualities in horn!

There could be lads choking on their words come tomorrow evening:D:D. A selection of the best !!!!!

I knew ye feckers were all looking for davy's head after the Cork game.

I think a few of the players were looking for his head after the Cork game,, hence the change in tactics..no more stupid short line balls and running into the nearest man with the ball. That's what beat us against Cork the last time.
Notice how he isn't spouting about his possession game. Players made it clear no stupid tactics from here on. That

Brian Murphy took him out of the game in June and he will be well marshelled. It's a great chance for the other lads to step up to the mark. He is probably the best young hurled in the country at the same time though. Im eating my words bob!! He has brought them on a long way in the meantime.

Heard Kelly was sick the last day and couldn't be treated properly due to the potential drug tests.. we will find out today. Still he is only 19.

Just testing in general . It might encourage a bit better health in the herd if I sampled for a few things a couple of times a year . I would never really justify calling the vet for it but if I had the bottles myself I would be more I clined to do it .
If it's a genaral check take nose swabs and faecal samples also. I presume you are only teating a representative number

Mrs Delaval gone to her mothers with kids, never thought to ask me, presumed I was milking even asked me to get milk. I kept quiet:D:D

Waterboys blaring from the speakers, Bob Dylan next, bit of grub, get the milk and down to the pub to watch the match.

Oh sweet Jesus, this is bliss:D:D:D:D;););)

Just smoked a fag in the kitchen. Before anyone gets smart I didn't shoot a gay intruder:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I've taken up position in the sitting room. Game on, curtains half drawn, the only time the door will open before half 5 today is to take in grub or tip out for a 'nature break' . Happy days.

Clare very unlucky I reckon, they played far better hurling

Gaa in refs ear draw to add to the coffers.

If it wasn't for Fitz I'd have loved Clare to win

Should have scored that free though!

Can't see Clare as good next day :(

Cork will have recovered by the replay but you never know

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,244 ✭✭✭sea12

Clare much the better team. Delighted they got the draw in the end. 25 points and not to win is v surprising.

V exciting second half for the neutral.

What a 2nd half. Amazing scores on both sides, Clare doing most of the hurling but Cork sticking in 3 goals.

Talking there about the replay on Sat 28 Sept.
