John Dory/cod/whiting are all bland IMO.

Had John Dory for the first time this year and I thought it was the tastiest fish ever to pass my lips! Divine.

    Fresh tuna is fairly unfishy.

Fresh oysters don't smell or taste like fish.

What is a PT and why are they recommending fish?

Dabs are nice. I asked how to cook them - put them in the microwave, look through the window, and when the eyes pop they're ready :)

I've poached dab fillets in milk - was lovely.

Flounder is very tasteless, and a very underrated fish, nothing like catching a fat plump flounder from a beach in November, bringing it home cooking it. ..
Has to be from a beach, I think, not from an estuary. :)
