Pickguard materials

Hi! I'm planning on customizing my guitar a little bit and was wondering where in Dublin I can get plastic sheets for a pickguard. Do you know if any guitar repair shops sell these? I know there are ready ones that you can buy but I have an 8 string guitar and am pretty sure that none will fit :P

Thanks for the response. I try to avoid internet shopping if its not necessary Thought maybe some1 was selling these kind of things here in Dublin.

Try sign writing companies, they should have various sheet plastic material in stock.

avoid acrylic. too brittle.

McMordie Bros in Belfast have PVC sheet that I've used.

there is bound to be someone in Dublin who supplies plastic sheet to the signmakers......
