I am doing MH114, a BA in English, but I have to have a 'minor' as well, for me it's Nua-Gaeilge but there are more required modules each semester than I can choose to do, how do I pick my modules?

    From the website http://www.nuim.ie/courses/?TARGET=QS&MODE=VIEW&QUALIFICATION_CODE=ENGL&TARGET_SOURCE=QUALIFICATION

it seems that you just take all of the modules shown (NG201, NG202, NG203, NG206, NG211 & NG213), as they add up to 20 credits. Four of those modules are only 2.5 credits. People who do double honour Irish get to do optional modules to fill up the other 10 credits, but it seems that you just do the ones shown there.

    Hope that helps :)

Just so others know, if you do have optional modules to choose from you just select them when registering online. One of the steps is to select your modules. Be warned that modules in some subjects have class limits and fill up fast so I would try get in early!

Thank you, I really don't know how I didn't notice that some had 2.5 credits, that's what got me :)
