What are the Rubrics like?

    I just accepted an offer for a room in the Rubrics for the coming year, can someone tell me what a standard room in house 25 consists of? I know there is a thread about this already but it didn't clarify whether they all have a small sitting room or just a bedroom or how many people share the bathroom/kitchen etc? It is just the apartments at the end buildings that have the little sitting room and sofa? Surely that wouldn't be fair because everyone pays the same residential charges? Any help would be appreciated!

    I was in House 26 before, and what your room is like depends on where it's located on the corridor really! For example, I was in a room at the end of a corridor (at the end of the building), and I had my own bedroom and a separate sitting room to myself. However, the rooms in the middle just had a (large) bedroom. It does seem to be the luck of the draw unfortunately!

    You'll generally share a kitchen with one other, and a bathroom with a few.

    I really liked living in the Rubrics tbh, I had a couple of problems as the place was so old, but everything was always sorted by the residences office and the maintenance guys really quickly which is better than you'd get with most landlords. I loved having the two rooms to myself, so if you're lucky enough to have that (ie if you can find out where your room is!), definitely go for it!
