The unfunny answer is its a Neurological exam testing the cerebellum, which controls voluntary movement.

Basically testing for abnormal movements and inco-ordination. <----(The jokes will write themselves sometimes, perhaps Dr Zaf should have been given the p-45 for not finding anything :pac:)

I thought you said unfunny. Is your funny response ala Monty Python's deadly joke?

The only time i took note of him was the valencia porto game in the cl last season and thought he looked good, but it was only one game.
Few people i follow on twitter say if he can recapture his old form we are looking at a good lb, if not well be banging our heads off the wall. Could work well or not, atleast its a loan if it goes tits up. In any case its good to have back up lb, i know we had robinson but id still rather him go on loan then have him as back up. Should be interesting

Seen this said a lot over the last couple of seasons, thats the issue really. One thing in our favour is that he will be playing for a permanent move.

How many players have Spurs went after then we were interested? Anyone name them all?

Brut billboard, saying "Man up" there. Don't like the idea of our lads being exposed to that kind of language.

During our game on Saturday there was feck all else on around Europe. Im following a few Valencia diehards and they were watching our game. To quote one of them, "Cissokho will make Enrique look like Zidane in terms of technique". Lets hope he has something to offer.

Haven't seen much of him so I can't judge, but if that statement is accurate then I wouldn't have to much hope for him.

And another is that we can hand him back if he does not perform.

Is a good squad addition imho, one that carries little by way of risk.

But like any of our other good squad additions, it will needs a few first team additions around it to properly improve the team.

    Re: Cissokho.

Meh. Another squad player. Enrique is not particularly high up on our list of problems IMO.

Never hear of competition for places or back up?

    Hmm, Utd 2-3 Liverpool

Could be any score by FT.

Some seriously wankery tackling by Liverpool players.

    Just stupid stuff.

It was obvious he meant 16 away team penalty's at anfield. This is painful!

    Chillax, dude.

If it was obvious to me i wouldn't have asked the question.

Now feel free to untwist your knickers and slap me with the ignore function:)

I did. And it's a fine signing on those grounds. However, we still need a couple of quality signings to go straight into our first team IMO.

    Great stuff from Borini there.

Who's the Scottish commentator, does anyone know?

Edit: Pat Crerand, as I thought.

I'd be reasonably happy with our dealings if we brought in Willian and Ilori before the window closes.

Still have issues that need addressing, but certainly enough in the squad to challenge for 4th.

If he recreates his Valencia form, then we get a player who will only be a match at best for what Enrique brings, but if he can get motivated to bring his Lyon form, well safe to say that Enrique will be made to look plodding in terms of pace and power.

He works well with clever players around him, and used to be very good at getting the ball quickly to such players and also providing them with a pacy direct outlet.

Plus there is the chance that Enrique ups his own game now he has some competition for LB slot.

Quite happy with the signing tbh, and is a player that I wanted us to sign a number of seasons ago when he was still in France.

So if that's fine and you know they are busy trying to complete other signings then I don't see what you're complaining about.

    Which channel?

It's a stream of MUTV, and I copped soon after I typed it.

We have a more pressing need for a new CB that would be a starter than a back up (as he would be at this earlier stage of his career) CB like Ilori. Ilori is quick, mobile and looks to have a bright future, but he is very raw at present.

Now Willian and a quality CB would be nice before the window shuts.

Really do think that we need two first team quality signings to make this window a good one rather than a passable/decent one. I think the signings we have made so far this season (with the exception of Mignolet as I rate him a quality signing) would all be good ones if the first team was already in fairly good nick.

Did I win the prize for 1000th poster to say that in the last couple of weeks?

Agree with that, Kelly the latest.

Jordan Rossiter is so good to watch, he has a 20 something head on 16 year old shoulders. Time and composure.

He's stayed on his feet in the box, foreign players are usually the first on the ground

    Good man.

Sorry if posted already, but was in my local Dealz today, and Pepe's autobiography is the book section for €1.49! Hadn't read it before, so snapped it up. Think it finishes when Kenny was in charge. :o
