    ugh :(

Bought an iMac around a year ago.
Came with SnoLeo disk, but Lion installed.
Selling it on to upgrade soon hopefully.

I tried doing a clean install of Lion but it is asking me for an Apple ID, then refusing to move on. I decided to downgrade to Snow Leopard for the sake of being able to sell on a clean machine, but it won't let me.

Any ideas what I can do?

Wouldn't feel right to just delete my files and not sell it on with a proper clean install..

    Thanks!

Someone before you purchased Lion and installed it on that Mac.

Have you purchased Lion on your apple ID?

More info needed. Why won't it let you? Did you the wipe the hard disk first?
