It's such a nice song and the melody is too, I just can't help feel it's kinda ruined by the Simpsons reference.

I mean, they could have made a serious song, it still sounds good though.

I actually thought the Simpsons reference added to it. I'd always thought of Milhouse as just comic relief in a "Aw, nerdy boy likes girl he doesn't have a chance with, hahah" way, but that song made me think of him a more sympathetic manner, a story of unrequited love and such.

As it's LC results day, it got me thinking about the song that I remember most from when I did it, and I just realised that although I listened to the radio nearly constantly while studying, I have no recollection of what was in the charts in June or August 2010.

What I do remember is waking up at 6am on the morning of Round 1 offers, logging onto the CAO website on my crappy old laptop in bed, finding out I was going to college, then opening Jango (music site) and this song was the first one that played. Seemed somehow appropriate...

So after that boring synopsis of my life, what were you guys' LC songs?
