Fishing around Hook Head/ Fethard on Sea

Hi, I'm new to sea fishing and am heading to Fethard on Sea for 2 weeks on Saturday. I've got a couple of beachcasters and a tripod and am hoping to catch anything. Any pointers and tips would be great. Marks will be kept on the QT. Thanks Jim

pollock,mackeral,coalies, wrasse,ray and a few other species around the hook.
good bass being got at st kierans at moment, from fetherd head through salt mills turn right when you cross bridge out of village plenty of spots along shore on right
