missing pics

please help In the last few days when i've tried to open sites with ..ahem...lots of pictures they won't display, it only happens on some sites & it works on others, has any one got any ideas? I've tried checking all file types in control panal & everything appears to be in order I'm using xp pro (with the latest updates)

did someone change the security settings in ie?
tools/internet options/security
i did that before & forgot about it, nearly ended up reinstalling ie...
clearing your temporary internet files might help as well

try disabling any personal firewall's that are in action
