Lineup is dreadful. EDM bollocks. I feel my aul muckers at MCD have gotten it badly wrong.

Anyone see the first at Ballinrobe? Massini's Trap, another blatant non trier  At least the stewards are investigating it

Went to Witnness/Oxegen every year from 2000-07. Gave up on it after it became infested with scum bags, you'd be walking round muttering the line from Taxi Driver about a rain coming some day

50 day ban for the jockey. While I agree with this if it was Ruby Walsh he wouldn't have got a 50 day ban.

Cracking ride by Ruby there, horse was never travelling. How did Willie Twiston Davies win that at Ffos Las. Nearly came off about a furlong out smashed into the rails!

Big gamble here at Ffos Las! CABUCHON was 14/1 this morning. Opened up on track at 7/2 and is now 2/1!

someone put this up on Betfair about the Like A Diamond gamble yesterday:
There was obviously a whistle blower involved because the Turf Club Security Department wouldn't be able to track an elephant in snow who was bleeding from an artery.

Fupping backstard........ Though having practically poisoned myself with Metalman Pale Ale the other week, I will be shying away from it for a while, tasty though it indeed is.... Haven't had a Guinness in ages, 8 cans for €12 deal on in the supermarket at the minute, that could be the plan of action for the weekend's imbibing... unless I spot an eyecatching brew for Thursday night treats while doing the shopping this evening of course....

Drinking some "belgian" Trappist ale that the clueless bar maid told me was O'Haras Pale Ale. It isn't but I'm fairly sure it

    1. Shouldn't be served by the pint
    2. Shouldn't cost 5.10 (the price of a pint of O'Hara's Pale Ale) for a pint of said potency.

    All in all a success

11.2%. What an age we live in

I'm half cut after a pint

In fairness, that's like drinking 3/4 of a bottle of wine in half an hour or so. You might (possibly?) want to consider taking it handy for the next hour or two, especially if you're with work mates. Otherwise (embarrassing) hilarity may follow!

We've all been there.... Brain screaming "no you idiot, don't tell that joke about Larry" even as your mouth has already begun the process..... :)

    Solid night

Drank a nice selection of stouts in Against The Grain. Was drinking on a tab so didn't care. Was drinking a few Milk Stouts, seriously tasty but pricey had I been paying myself
