Hi, i've been playing Runescape since Nov 2006. Really enjoy this game 07scape and eoc alike. I am maxed and have a completionist cape :P. Rarely find any Irish people playing these days as I did in the past :(

Not going to lie I really don't like eoc! I quit rs2 in probably 2011 with 2138 total which even at that time wasn't particularly high, and I never had more than 100 mil at a time because I loved wasting money and had to spend it on prayer and all those sillily expensive things :). I'm starting back playing 07scape for summer, mostly just to spend time with the friends I made over runescape. A good few of them carried on and maxed out and one of them is now sitting on 1 billion total xp... crazy crazy crazy stuff. My name ingame is frzen :)

Never played Runescape or even looked into it to be honest. What's the deal is it worth checking out?

I know it's not your conventional MMO but what are the big differences? I've looked up some info but I'd rather get a players opinion!

Runescape is a fun and addictive MMORPG, hundreds of thousands of people play it every day on the many worlds available to play on. There is no real main objective of the game, it is up to you which of your 25 skills you want to train up and gain levels in, as you train your skills and reach higher levels, the time it takes to get up one gets longer and longer often causing people to become addicted to getting a certain skill to lvl 99 which is the highest level.

In addition to that you can do quests that give you some great rewards which i enjoy doing myself.

You meet some extremely awesome people on it and it has a decent community, but beware because it is easy to become addicted to it and have no life due to it(which is why i quit).

Its different to other mmorpgs mainly because you can play it completely free and without download.
