seashore fishing around Tramore

Hi, any recommendation on places to fish from the shore around tramore and what can you expect to catch ? have the mackerels arrived yet ? what setup ? launch and retreive with a lure or a line of 5 hooks with feathers ? or can you catch something with a float but then what do you use for bait ? The Guillemeans would be your best bet for mackerel but theres not much in yet

do you catch them with feathers ?

Yeah its next to newtown cove and feathers would be the best option i think
