    Im arriving in Aussie at the end of Aug and i've completed a HC in Civil Engineering. I am under the impression that i wont receive the HC until graduation, which is at the end of Oct.

    My question is this will i be able to apply for jobs i would be qualified for or will i have to wail until the end of Oct ?

    Bring the transcript of your results to show you have passed. It will also be required if you need to get your degree recognised over here.

    whats a HC, higher certificate? like what you get after 2 years in an IT?

    if you are intending on staying on for longer than the WHV, it might be worth your while waiting on for the Ordinary Degree.

    i doubt the HC would count for much in terms of immigration.

    You could be vastly qualified, but have no experience. This would leave you unable to get a proper visa, it goes without saying your cv would be pointless in this case.

    I never said i didn't need a visa to enter the county, i said i won't need a whv or a graduate visa to stay in the country. You need to pay attention boi !! :D
