Well. Picked up a Mario Kart Double Dash Zelda double disc for the 'cube from a nice chap the other day.
Also got Metroid and Fzero for the gba advance yesterday fully boxed and nicey nicey.
Weird thing, I was expecting to have to traverse Limerick to get it afyer receiving a 'sorry we missed you' from An Post. However, they have a new service now where they get into your car and leave the package on your driver side seat. How nice.

ah they are great! an overlooked thing on them i think, is that if you disable all games on it except 1, it boots straight into that game, skipping that horrible menu. its brilliant for my Donkey Kong cab and will be great for this space invaders cocktail.

Just one last thing on these 60in1s, if anyone is ever looking to do a dedicated cab and disable all the other games on it except one, eg in my case for the cocktail, space invaders.. once you have done that, and it boots into the game, it doesnt take like a minute or whatever to boot up like it does with the 60 games enabled, you switch on and its straight into the game as if it was an original board in there.

    Dammit!
I jumped in with both feet.
Stuck an offer in on the complete Namco Museum set, including Encore display box.
It was at $100 and I made an offer of $80, which was accepted!
The real killer is the $28 shipping but, as the bishop said to the nun, it is a big box.
So, PayPal charged me €86 for the lot, only a token €14 less than the original price but I'm pleased.
Plus, this is something I've been hankering after for some time.
Next purchase will be the Namco Volume Controller, a lovely device that works well with several games in the museum collection.
I seem to remember an official link between the two products but no luck so far, I had helped Pyongy find a vendor that was selling one.

Yeah, could be a month waiting, standard shipping, that said I've gotten items from Japan within 7 days so you never know.

Might sell something to make me feel less guilty.....
Might stick Ibara for the PS2 up again.

Xtra Vision near me is closing, so my friend's brother held PW Trials and Tribulations for me til it went on sale today.
I got it earlier so I'm over the moon! My favourite in the series

Got Castlevania on the NES and Sunset Riders for the SNES today.

I'm getting really sick of Konami region locking their SNES games. Only Nintendo and Konami seem to do it. I need to get my SNES modded soon but have more important things to spend money on in the mean time.

These few bits arrived today, not strictly retro unless I turn it into a lightweight Mame pc. I knew it was small but it really is a surprise how small when you get your hands on it (the Pi that is...).

Ah, the good ole Raspberry Pi. So small, so cheap yet so many projects you can do with it.
I bought a new drone this week for aerial photography etc. Gonna see if i can do something with a raspberry pi with that as its nice and light and wont mess with the drone to much.

Nights into dreams arrived this morning, looking forward playing it.
I'd say it'll be odd on the PS2 pad, there's two versions on the disk, both the Saturn and new version with the graphic upgrade. Apparently Christmas Nights is in there too.
Now I have a bizarre triumvirate of Saturn classics on the PS2, Nights, Panzer Dragoon and Sega Rally.

I can never hide the truth from you Ciderman :D

Tis a nice drone though, major upgrade from my Parrot AR 2.0
So, with the weather the way it is, if anyone should see a white drone flying over Stephens Green at lunchtimes this week that has a GoPro attached to it please be kind and remove an item of clothing.

It's so cute, had to pick the green because it.said colour of frogs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,622 ✭✭✭✭OwaynOTT

You know some frogs are pink and even grey, maybe you should get all 3.
But green is the bestest not lime smelly pink.

Enjoy the micro as they really are great. Don't scratch the screen!

So, my self appointed time of non-buying post spending dosh on the Namco Museum has lasted, well, no time at all.
In the last couple of days I've ordered a Namco Volume Controller to use with the Namco Museum titles, I'm a sucker for Namco peripherals, and a whole heap of Jap MD games from that wonderful Proco Jr on that wonderful Marketplace.

But, yeah, Namco peripherals, truly the Apple of PS add-ons, with the Jogcon being their Pippin.
The Negcon, Guncon series, this lovely paddle controller, the Arcade Stick, all so nicely built, can't fault them.
