Am I the only one that hates the Coronas? The lead singers voice does my tits in. Have to turn the radio off whenever a song by them comes on.

Just after hearing a young lad drowned about an hour ago down the road from me. :( Awful news, the water is so so dangerous.

Great clock in his head, and Ana gave her winner a lovely ride too, looked really strong in the saddle.

That stuff would make a regular bottle of beer go pale. Strong stuff. I must try a bottle. Enjoy it!

Hall of Famer Whitey Ford now on the field pleading with the crowd for... for some kind of sanity.

I usually don't go for really strong beer but "normal" Leann Follain is 6%. It's probably my favourite beer so said I'd try out the big dog!

Clowns man. That fella hasn't a clue either, he put up one day before the flat the horses he was excited to see. I wad the first comment and he deleted.his status, didn't know Excelebration had been retired.

First day of the flat season on heavy ground and he puts up a 6/4 favourite in a field of unraced two year olds. I got some abuse for saying its a poor bet, i hadn't a clue apparently

Sanders, I have a man with 8 bottles I can purchase if I want. Don't want 8 myself, but give me a shout if yourself, or anyone else, is interested.

Hey Carpo where did you say the best burrito in Boston is again

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 2,475 ✭✭✭carpothepunk

Annas Taqueria in Brookline/Allston. Miles away from you, but worth it.

    https://maps.google.ie/maps?q=annas+taqueria&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=en&sa=N&tab=wl

You can get the green line to Coolidge Corner, or the 66 bus. Coolidge Corner is a cool place to hang out, too.

Nice, I've tried a lot and found two beauties. Best so far is Maria's Taquiria just down from Boston common. Very good one right next to Tasty Burger in Harvard Square. Was excited to try Chipotle, what a disappointment

Marias is awesome, but Annas will blow you away. ****ing Tasty Burger. Try Friendlies if you can, get the dirty burger.

What touristy ****e have you done?

    Hooker
    O'Hara's Pale Ale
    Leann Follain

    Or

    Leann Follain
    Hooker
    O'Hara's Pale Ale

    Just my opinion ;)

I had a bottle of wine with dinner. Few tins are in order now.

I concur with your first suggestion, to the degree that I've got the bottle of Hooker poured right now. Keep the ales together then round it off with the LF, if I started with the Leann Follain I wouldn't want anything else... If they only did bottles of Metalman, I'd have my perfect 4 beer session right there...

I've only just realised that the first mentioned was a drink rather than a lady of the night. I must be conditioned to reading this thread far too frequently.

Galway Hooker is a solid, solid drink. Lovely on draught

Thankfully becoming more common (in Dublin anyway) by the week
