Can you substitute Dublin Bus Rambler Tickets with NFC tags?

Does anybody know if it's possible to write the NFC information of a rambler ticket on to a NFC tag with your phone and scan that instead of the ticket itself? I sometimes lose my tickets and it'd be really handy to just have an NFC tag on the back of my phone to scan instead.
