Flicked over to the tennis in between the races just in time to hear the commentator refer to the game as a "tasty women's encounter". Not quite what I'd be looking for had I entered that phrase into google, but not utterly woeful either...

Leitrim isn't too bad, Roscommon is far worse, Longford is a right hole.

Reminds me of an old recitation.

The town of Naas is an awful place
    Portlaoise is just as bad
Longford town would get you down
    but EFF me Kinnegad

4 cans of Guinness down, another 20 for me to work my way through & Glastonbury on the box with Primal Scream playing at the minute & the Rolling Stones on later. Life is a bitch sometimes, but this ain't one of those times!!!

Resoundingly drunk. The Stones were mostly meh, but occasionally class. Tomorrow I shall have my first hangover in more than at least a month & I will not be a happy camper. But for now, living it large...

LOL! Didn't see that one coming. Scoreline flattered KK. One of the nicer teams to be beaten by.

Wexford will be disappointed to only be a point ahead at half time. Should almost be out of sight. Some brutal misses (the worst was Brosnan's last free of the half) and let Meath back into the game when they'd looked woeful for 25 minutes

Jesus, shocking 2nd half from Wexford there. They really wilted late against Louth too.

I'd say its the end of the road for some of the old Stalwarts from Jason Ryan's reign. PJ Banville top of that list it pains me to say, always admired him. Not the flashiest player but fewer were harder working

Don't follow the GAA but nice win for London. Sign of the times I guess.

Thought they were a touch big today price wise. Any of yee ever gone to a Galway preview night? Not sure its ever been done. Alot more relaxed than a Chelt one like, more abit of craic and have a few chancers on the panel, Shark Hanlon etc?

Also, to bring a serious tone to the thread for the first time ever, if anyone has a contact for someone to make a donation to the John Thomas MacNamara fund, as opposed to the IJF, could they PM me? Thanks

Working on weekends should be illegal

I'm the definition of a solid Monday to Friday man. I'd love to be able to say 9-5 also, alas doesn't work that way

I wouldn't drink Bud or Coors alcoholic sparkling water if they were free tbh

In my drinking days I would have drank anything that was free, and as much of it as possible.

Must admit I think the worst beer I've ever tasted is Corona. I wanted to vomit the first (and thus far only) time its passed my lips. If I ever want something marketed I want the lads who made this affront to god fashionable to do it for me

Of the more "mainstream" stuff Heineken is swill that should only be used to wash tar mac after road accidents. It's absolutely horrible. I always find it funny that a lot of people think its a serous cut above the usual Bud, Carlsberg etc
