Did anyone else find the Summer 2010 tax paper absolutely impossible? It was a bad one to attempt the day before the exam - confidence is gone out the window!

If you wanna feel good about yourself do the 2009 paper. Anyone who passed that year should have an asterisk next to their tax result it was such an easy paper!

Do you think a student card will do as ID? My licence and passport is at home?

It says driving licence or passport on the letter but I'm pretty sure people forget Government ID for the FR/SFMA CA in January and they were ok with their student card and work ID if you have that (bring your Garda Card if you have that).

Make sure you have the letter though and go up before hand to one of the supervisors to explain it and you'll be fine.

Hit me like a ton of bricks now, can't believe they start tomorrow. Gonna skim through the book one more time, then tuck myself in and watch a movie and forget I have exams tomorrow. Banking on the fact that I'll be more alert then and remember more......:(

Hopefully someone lit a candle for me haha :P

    First one done anyways!

Heavily weighted towards CGT and CAT- can't believe I wasted most of last night panic studying losses and close companies.

Glad to have it out of the way though

Exactly what I said when I came out! A very strange paper! Very little CT, very heavily weighted towards CAT, and then to CGT.

Couldn't tell you now if I passed or failed either!

Tbh....if I put my money on which ones I'll fail, I'd say auditing! So subjective and hard to get marks in!

I'm just bringing in my main folder, my 'exam' folder with the summaries, and then the books.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 380 ✭✭PhilipLuke

Not happy with myself at all I dont know whether I passed or failed either!!

I reckon I was better set last week in just wrecked at this stage

I'm the same but with folders with graded questions and exam papers so I have 3 folders plus the books, think il need to bring in my wheely suitcase it's massive but I don't fancy carrying all the folders and books either. Yeah audit is very vague :/
