how to put liteon dvd key onto new liton drivee

    hey guys as title says my liteon drive is knackered its stock not flashed! i want to put the broke dvd key onto th new drive/! my problem is i have only ever flashed drives with lt and never just extracted the dvd key, after i probe the drive to get the dvd key at what point do i stop, because i need both dvd keys, im not flashing these drives i just want to put the old dvd key onto the new drive! im a bit confused how to go about it
    any help would be great
    thanks in advance!

    edit: im not able to solder so i cant just swap the pcbs!

    What model do you have Slim or "phat"?

    hey, ryan, its a phat,i got the keys from both drives, and flashed both with stock firmware, now when i put the broke drive in source firmware tab and the new drive firmware in the target firmware it wont let me spoof source to target an error comes up about firmware, its pissing me off at this stage, i know im doing something stupid!
    any thoughts?

    Are the DVD drive models indentical? Unless it a RGH/JTAG you won't be able to spoof the DVD drive. If it is an RGH/JTAG all you need is the DVD key from the original drive and flash this to the replacement.

    Are you using Jungle Flasher or the Maximus 360 flash tool?

    yes drives are identical! im using jungleflasher! can i not just flash the drive key over?
    no way! i posted on another site and they said it is possible, i know swapping the pcb's would be easier but i cant solder, there is only 8 wires in the liteons! surely there is a way of doing this in jungleflasher!
