I have yet to meet either a man or woman in a trilby hat who was not a complete and utter arsehole.

While we're at it we can also add people who wear ridiculous skinny jeans or glasses with no frames. In fact anyone wearing a trilby hat or any of that craic should be kicked repeatedly up the hole.

Let's just say you've just met someone and you find out that they like or are 'into something' that you loathe and have no respect for?

    What is it?

There's a very obvious one, I wonder how long it will take to pop up :pac:

Personally speaking, I find anyone who buys strawberry based products instead of an alternative, comes across as a very bland person and they should take a long hard look at themselves.

On here, if they use capitalised letters to try to enhance their point.

Hate the socially awkward arseholes that give small talk the cold shoulder treatment. Especially when you're stuck in a room with them for a long time. The tension is like a wet fart in a lift.

Smokers who have kids...couples who write about/to each other on facebook.

Just people who are full of shiite. Whether it's pretending to know more about a subject than they do, lying to try and big themselves up or pretending they're something they're not.

That and people looking down on others for no particular reason.

Girls who wear 'GEEK' or 'NERD' T-shirts, despite not being geeky or nerdy in the slightest. That really gets to me.

people that don't have any real interests whether its politics, music whatever - where everything there into seems to be mainstream

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,943 ✭✭✭smcgiff

The kind of people who turn out to cheer for Obama, the Queen, or cried at Diana's death, but never visit their Granny's grave.

But, I don't know where the Queen's grandmother is buried?

Oh, people that make fun of other poster's postings.

They are probably wasting their time learning to spell rather than obsessing about stuff not being mainstream.

Add people who use 'mainstream' to criticise music, politics, art or anything else to my list.

People who just constantly sh*t on Ireland, the simple mentioning of Ireland leads to bashing, this site has a good few culprits on it.

Ar*eholes who look down on others for any reason, and bullies, hate them with a passion.

Everything else im generally relaxed with

    Homophobes
People who talk down to you/patronise you.
People who dont respect others opinions.
    Aggressiveness
Being really loud and rude in a public place, like being on the bus where there are kids or elderly people talking about how they got wrote off at the weekend, every second word being f*ck.
Women who shout and swear at their really small kids.

I was trying to chat up a girl wearing a Kinks t-shirt one night, happened to make a comment about talking like a woman but walking like a man, got a wallop for me trouble.:(

People who are obsessed with what other people think of them. They are usually completely chameleon, changing their views/conversation/action to whatever they think will go down best with whoever they are speaking too. They have too many different "versions" of themselves and at the same time no clue who they really are. They are also normally too political, cosying up to or taking sides with whoever they want to lick up to rather than using any principles.

    people that nit-pick over spellings

Even if she liked the Kinks you were probably treading thin ice there...

If you had started off with "Now I'm not the worlds most passionate guy" you might had got less of a clatter.

What they wear. There is a fine line between sexy and slutty.

What they say. Just because you may have gone to Trinity, doesn't make you the smartest kid on the block.

What they do. Actions speak louder than words..
