Sorry, forgot to put in the link!

    http://www.vaperus.ie/cartomisers/271-dbox-puritank.html

Good ol' Vaperus. WIll let you know how I get on with them ;)

Love the look of that box with foam cut outs! Me being a n00b has an ego "ash-tray" lol, tiny thing, holds 3 feckin' ego batt's and that's it! Thought I was the man when I got it. But then went and bought a Vamo and was like ... er, where do I stick this then? [can imagine the suggestions, thanks]

I have a confession to make....DHL just arrived...

So small even next to the Sigelei 19

    9014489239_03da84fb64.jpg

    And so shiny!

    9015689978_da4418f0a3.jpg

Direct comparison to the 19 is that it hits so much harder with the same atty and battery.

Have to now pray my wife never finds out how much it cost :D

Is it not a bit awkward to hit the button on those mods where it's underneath? Do you push it with your pinky or something?

A lot of people tend to hold them with fingers down over the end anyway, even the ones with button on the side. They're so small these things, pick a finger to use ..

Looks nice. Don't know if I'd pay so much though

Less awkward than having juice fall all over you because the Airhole points the wrong way when you are holding the button :p

I generally use my "up yours" finger ... rarely my pinky

Well that's because of all the help i got here ;-)
    Nice setup :)

Having problems with T2 gurgling etc ... but probably realise from reading threads here that they're a very much entry level piece so any recommendations for an upgrade. Don't want to change battery if possible ... T3 a good option?

Protank or evod is the way to go. Both are bottom coil clearos, both work very well in my opinion. Protank has a bigger capacity and looks a bit nicer with the glass tank but the evods are great for the price. You can also recoil the heads on both, very easy to do and loads of videos around showing how to do it.

Simple set of instructions here, all you need is a pair of pliers, some 2 or 3mm wick and resistance wire.

Jesus - you love those A7's.....must dig mine out again and oid it. Might have learned a thing or 2 from the spheroid.

im tempted to order another couple of a7's.. just so I can find 1 of them that has the posts in the correct position

Yeah, I love them cause there so cheap :-) I only use them in oid form, have you tried it with that blue foam you got?

Hehe, I took a blowtorch to mine and was able to soften the metal a bit and turn the negative post to line up where I wanted it, was afraid to do it with the positive post in case I melted the insulator but that can usually be twisted enough to line up.

Tell you what.....that little attie is great.....not a whole lotta difference between it and the spheroid if Im to be brutally honest.....

Little bit warmer (which is nice) and not quite as much vapour but not much difference at all....looser draw as well but the spheroid is actually a bit tight I find.

    Very little difference indeed....

Another vote for the A7 from me...for the price it's really hard to beat. Rather like the Aga-s...good things come in small and inexpensive packages !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,096 ✭✭✭Mr. Chrome

Yep I agree, the only thing about the a7oid I dont like is the drip tip getting too hot, which I get around by glueing a condom to it:-) Sounds daft but it works a treat.
At the end of the day the a7oid is basicly a small spheroid.

how close to the airhole do you leave your coils?
and do you try to wind all the coils over the airhole, or have them evenly spaced between the posts

Not thread-jumping or anything but have just been on my daily check-up with the forum and seen the above two golden nuggets of info!
I'm on the lookout for an upgrade of the T3 (the new T3s is out I know) and going to start with a Protank.

But I also want lots more - I'm reading up on the Mini Vivi, the Igo-s, Aga-s, Mini DID...and now...the A7-oid (thanks Chrome!) - small clearo's and tanks are what I'm after as I won't be getting anything larger than a Sigelei 20 for quite a while.

    Quick question:
Is the A7 also A7-oid in some pared-down form?
Take some attachment off to make it smaller or is it a whole other piece of kit?

The A7 Oid is an A7 with an attachment
