Is that the download size or the HDD requirement. Remember downloads need at least double the actual storage space the game will eventually take, the download and the install. The download file gets deleted on install freeing up that space again. Unless it is actually that size of a download, in which case... ouch!

You can double that 48GB to install.... It's the file size.

Looks like the 750GB upgrade I did recently will be no use soon. How big are the PS4 downloads going to be, 500GB will be gone in no time with one free game a month #firstworldproblems

PS4 doesn't mean games will be bigger. A lot of the PS2 games are bigger than some PS3 games.

It all depends on the amount of cut scenes and HD assets. There is also the factor that current BR disks have a 50GB max.

If you're looking at that ahead of it going free, isn't it just the single player version going free as the multiplayer is already there for free. Though can't see a single player only version up there at the moment.

I know it's been asked before, but can't find it: Do save from the original copy of Uncharted 3 work with digital copy and/or GOTY copy?

That's the Game of The Year edition, which also includes the multiplayer. What we're getting is the single player campaign so the file size will be significantly smaller.

Pretty sure that its free and you can happily play the game and pay nothing. If you want the extra cars and tracks then you pay for them, if you don't then you don't. Really don't see the issue and I can imagine that it's something that Xbox fanboys will try and use to attack Sony.

Anyway the SP version we're getting is not up on the store even if some of the plus games have already had their prices changed to free.

Was only missing the Harley DLC so got that, as AC was free with PLus last December so I might download the game rather than mess around with finding the disc.

I bought all the DLC at the time AC was on PS+....stupidly, it would have been much cheaper to buy the GOTY edition :mad: :rolleyes:

the harley mission is ok, but it needed to be longer....new story and cut scenes plus some new areas, but most are reused or retouched places alreay seen in AC.

Yep, the single player game is up now.

And the file size is down as 11.1GB for those that were wondering. Who knew the multiplayer was that big?

Yeah, the multiplayer went free to play a while ago.

They went up on the 29th May so around the end of June/beginning of July. If you just add them to your basket and "buy" them though you don't have to worry as long as you have a PS Plus subscription.

Yeah played it before elsewhere and got lost outside the warehouse, or whatever it is.

Just would like it for completion's sake.

Depends i sujppose how quickly you think you can get through the monthly games. I'm now looking to upgrade my 500 GB to 1000 cause i've run out of space.

I only have a 40GB PS3 and still find it worthwhile. I usually purchase them all and chose 1 or 2 to download, play them through and then delete them for the next 2 on my list. It's not ideal but it also makes me far more inclined to finish a game once I start it.
