Question about Bettystown/Laytown

Hello! On two recent visits to Bettystown/Laytown, I noticed a really bad smell. We asked a few people about it and were told that it was slurry. :eek: Assuming that these people were correct about the cause, how often does it happen? I could live with it once or twice a year but if it's any more frequent than that, it…

Hello!

On two recent visits to Bettystown/Laytown, I noticed a really bad smell. We asked a few people about it and were told that it was slurry. :eek:

Assuming that these people were correct about the cause, how often does it happen? I could live with it once or twice a year but if it's any more frequent than that, it would be unbearable. Anyone know what the story is with it?

Its slurry spreading the areas are surrounded by farms .... and yes about once a year.
