New engine, new gearbox. It sounds like a car that was abused to me. If I was buying id be looking else where.

yellow plate on the back, felt'd , new engine and gearbox , very poor spelling in the ad. Id say it was raced to death between dundalk and newry until it died , wouldnt touch it with a barge poll

I've seen that car on the M1. If you saw the way it was being driven you wouldn't go near it

Was thinking the same thing. If it is as good as my gut feeling tells me it is, the price of €1,250 for car + donor car (also V6?) + new NCT until 07/14 + serviced (and hopefully a recent enough cambelt) is reasonable enough!

Always amazes me how can someone find a radio like that one and then decide that it would be a good idea to fit it into a car...

    Good car though.

She's a 323ci though, older model still a 2.5 litre. Strange that the seller doesnt recognise this in the add.

i suppose styling is a matter of opinion but i personally think most of the range of "Z" series cars were quite handsome.

its a rover with the K-series engine. not half as unreliable as bar stools would have you believe. aside from the dreaded head gasket, they are actually a really good go-er, we had one in the family for years, rarely gave any trouble.

i don't think any rover has had a honda engine for nearly 20 years now.

Agree with this, I have had a MG ZR for the last couple of years now. Previous owner had replaced the head gasket so that was a weight off my mind. Apart from a new clutch at 96,000 miles I've only had to service it and have had much happy motoring from it. I bought it back in 2011 for €1,400 and will be selling it later this summer and hope to get most of my money back. Have to say that this MG model did not break down anywhere near what friends/family said it would.

A nice Mazda 626 that seems well maintained, nearly no tax but a nice long test

    NCT: July 2014
    Tax: July 2013

Selling my Fiat Punto as I'm emigrating in a few weeks :)

    1.2L 8v Silver 3dr 2001.
    Running fine.
    Good tyres and long NCT.
    NCT 22/5/14.
    86,100 Miles.

I have it up for €1200 but I have to sell so will probably get a good bit lower. Anyone know how much to aim for?

Tidy little car. Good luck with the sale!

Not sure what it will make, but if someone is going to make you a cash offer of €850, are you going to refuse it? :)
