Central limit theorem I believe. It's been deferred for three years though so we don't have to worry about it

Q8 says that " This question contains a serious error. It is not possible to draw a triangle with such
dimensions. Using different methods will yield different answers all of which are wrong because
there are no right answers. Full marks will be awarded for this question."

    BOOM.

    Wait for independant events is it not P(A and B) = P(A) · P(B)?
(referring to answer for 1 (b) in http://www.studentxpress.ie/ProjectMaths/HL2013AnswersP2.pdf)

    I said P(AUB) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A intersection B)

If I made a balls of filling out the table in Q9, can I still get full marks in the next to parts if they are correct according to my table?

If you're too lazy to type:
    To whom it may concern,
I would like draw your attention to an error on Maths Paper 2. The specific question is question 8. No triangle exists or can exist with the dimensions given. This led to serious confusion for myself and many others during the exam. It threw off my concentration and used up a considerable amount of my time during the exam.

I would like to enquire about how the SEC will be dealing with this.

    Thank you.

It was just confirmed on RTE news there!

Better than I thought at first, would be great to get full marks (30) on question 8.
Can't remember if my tangent equation is correct, can it be done by using the equation that divides a line in ratio of a:b?

Damn that question 8 anyway. I had solved it with both sine rule and cosine rule and then proceeded to waste time trying to work out why there was a discrepancy, thinking I had slipped a sign or a figure. Put it into the calculator numerous times to check. Those extra few minutes could have made the difference regarding solving Q9 which I was left short for time wise.
