    Got it a few minutes ago on xbox.com, came up in euros first with a "Gold Exclusive" price of €19.99, from €19.99. But once I switched to MS points it was free.

    so you have to have a gold account to get it through the website or xbox,yes? People with the "free" silver accounts are out of luck..?

    If you have any 24 hour trials laying around you should use them or if you've created less than 3 accounts on your xbox (think it's 3) you can create a new account and you'll get gold for a month. Then just download.

    This being 'free' must be e3 related. Fable 4 has to be announced later on at the Microsoft press conference. e3 lasts from today until wednesday. So I reckon after that it'll switch to pay. Be quick so.

    Someone on HUKD said they tried it with a 24hr trial and it didn't work. Apparently they're actually just Silver accounts with added access.

    Just letting ye know. I haven't tried this myself. Just reporting what I read elsewhere (/disclaimer)

    used a 14-day trial code for gold, doesn't seem to allow me to do anything? Tried setting up new account to get the 1 month trial- but you need to set up payment details first,any way around that?

    Think you can pause and resume. Or you can turn on background downloads and let it download overnight?

    Yeah, its the start of the new promotion, they'll be giving away 2 free games a month until the end of the year. Starts in July, but this was a teaser.

    I take it that after your Gold membership runs out, you will still be able to play the game (or is it like Playstation Plus and only works while you are a paid member)?

    Yes. Once you've purchased the game (even if it is for free), then it's yours.
    There are no timeouts associated with these games that they are giving away between now and the end of the year.

    For any1 having problems getting it I couldn't get it to download using my credit card details but pressed x to pay by ms points and downloaded straight away

    For me it's advertised as free but then I go to try and purchase it, it's 39.99 or when I try and use microsoft points its 3360 ms... Anyone else have this problem?

    Wouldn't work with the credit card details, used the microsoft points option and it says its been queued to download, thanks for your purchase.
