Exactly! Bar Thursday and Fridays I'm grand, I'm edumacating myself at the minute on those days

Also, the guy next door to me does fireplaces, has one like that, terrifying yoke altogether, went through a solid granite one in about 8 seconds

Jesus, massive spinning wheels with diamond edges are scary.

He should have just bought the Tempra, might have gotten away from the fanboy image a bit. :p

Would you not get away without spring compressors?

We've often put lowering springs onto std mcpherson style shocks no bother without them, getting the old ones off is a bit ropey (the top mount doesnt fly that far :pac:).. All you need is a few stout men to hold the top mount down onto the spring till you get the top bolt on.. :)

Fitting standard springs is a pain in the hole though, I hate spring compressors, they always try to kill me.

Done that with an impact gun before, 406 strut and 21mm nut, nut came off still jammed, tipped it with a hammer and it exploded, the bang from it was something else, bearing went in bits, ball bearings everywhere :eek:

Definitely do not try at home!!! ;)

I will have to see one in the flesh before I decide.
Would also need one for a day or so to drive.
It would also be pending price as these are going to be a good bit more expensive than my one.

One thing for certain. Those wheels are a big no no :o

    You sure, man?
If you've put your own in already and don't mind being without them for a bit then I'd take you up on it.

Rare chance to perv on the cars too seeing as we live at opposite ends of the country. :D

I'm in Boston at the moment. The quality of the cars is something else. Strolling around yesterday I saw an Audi R8, an F430, loads of AMG mercs and a few BMW M3s. And all the usual American fare. Cameros, Chargers etc. My brother is renting a car for the summer for work and is now in a brand new 2013 white charger. Only the V6 but fantastic smooth power delivery. The thing is absolutely massive too.

Got my first shot of my car at the docks in Japan, I know the alloys wont be to everyone's taste and I may look at changing them when it arrives, I have asked the agent to get a few bits done to the car while I am waiting for it to be shipped, so clear front indicators, factory front lip and side skirts:D.

I think the real question is, do you have any need whatsoever to use a car over there Robbie?

Public transport is quite good and a car is only going to prohibit a potential off the cuff wine sipping session in a cafe.

We are in the east section of the city. So far everyday we've hitting the metro into the city and it is a fantastic system and works very well. Today we've decided to see the local town and have a look around to see what's what.

Tbh don't need the car at all and I know there. I was only curious to see what it would be like to drive the complete opposite than normal as such

Speaking of driving. Boss text me last night to ask would i go to work today in the garage. Nope boss nowhere near !

Being trying to upload photos my girlfriend has being taking on here phone off cars. Not working here. Will load them all when home !

Do the driving thing man, set your humour to maximum agressive, and then say to yourself "right ye french fookers, you can have the space in front of me......if ya can take it" ;) after that its fun! Just be careful of the bikes/scooters.

The pub I go to when I go into town is mcBrides, 54 rue st denis (close to chatelet les halles train station (chatelet metro) ) there is also a scottish pub (miserable place) and am aussie bar on the same street. If I was in paris at the moment (back on monday) I get happy hour prices in mcbrides :D

What odd noises I do be hearing.... A TDI Bora with a bap bap bap style rev limiter.....?

An 07 Yaris with a farty exhaust (plenty of them like that) followed by a 206 HDi with whine ( unsure what causes it ) sounded like a baby had a shart then began to bawl its head off :pac:

Hahahahaha people of Navan begining to resemble lobsters that much time spent in the sun :p

Am I a bad bollox for laughing at leaving cert students who have to do exams? :p

Bit of an upgrade to the Civic:

    After:

    Surely worth an extra 5bhp?

Saw some nice cars today, a vintage Mustang (have a pic of it), two 12 BMW 640D's and what I think was a 3.2 Brera as it had quad exhausts unless that was standard on all Brera's.

    ^I wouldn't be a huge fan of a 6 series,

But I meet a blue-ish 640d on Griffith Ave nearly every day, and my god they are a beautiful looking car :o

They are, I think they're one of if not BMW's best at the moment, in my opinion of course.

Was handed the keys to BMW's 640d GT M-Sport demo last year. Full tank of fuel, no one in the passenger seats, and slightly damp roads around Shankhill/Cherrywood/Loughlinstown. Shifter across in to S and away I went.

Made the X6 30d and the 328i very dissapointing in comparison.
