Just did the paper one, my opinions:

-The listening for okay, the first two pages I think I got almost all of them right, but the last page for the listening ... I didn't understand a word.

-The reading comperhensions were easy, simple questions and I understood the jist of the passages. I think hopefully I got 60%+ of the avaliable marks.(I didn't right some of the answers in my own words, so yea.)

-I was about to cry in happiness when I saw"A.Caite" for that passage thing. I knew all the verbs so that was easy! :D

-The part B of the section was krazy. I think I only got one or none right on that. I don't know how to study for that, it seems like you have to be fluent in Irish to do that apparently .

-For the writing bit, I did b ii). I didn't understand what it was, but I think it was something that happened when you got a job in a shop? Anyway, I wrote 1 1/2 pages for that, and I think I might of got around the 40% mark for that section as my Irish isn't fluent! ;)

Overall, I think it was a nice and easy paper one. I hope I didn't fail on it! :) Paper two is easier in my opinion because you can study for it and don't have to be fluent in Irish to get a B on paper two . Roll on paper two! :D
I think bron(or something very like it) will come up for poetry and cursai sport will come up for fiction. *Cross fingers* :) Hope y'all did well!

The written stuff was easy enough but I think I did crap in the listening. Now I have to start studying for paper 2...

Hahaha that paper was too easy i think listening grand last page abih iffy. Comprehensions most questions were simple a caite and little mix question was simple then 3 page essay about the text message. Got 33 % in oral already i say i have a c easily in the bag now pushing for a b now or an a if all themes go my way :):):)

That was alright actually. The listening wasn't bad at all. Comprehensions had a few trickey questions but again, not too bad. Trilacha Teanga was fine too. Part B was a bit difficult! Ceapadoireacht I done the Part time job thing. Hopefully P2 won't be bad either :DDDD

Listening was terrible except first page, which was simple.
The rest was good enough,... I think

I did well in everything except listening and letter, I feel like they alone will drag me screaming down to a C.

Left 40 minutes early on higher level. Irish and English are subjects where you can't go over your paper and add stuff in without making a mess, unlike maths where you get marks for attempting.

The Listening was great! The last page was a bit confusing but overall it was fine.
I was praying for Aimsir Chaite to come up because I am rubbish at verbs! So delighted it did!
The reading comprehensions were good, some of the questions I didn't answer in my own words but it was okay.
The essay was a bit difficult for me. I did B (ii) (the one about the part time job in a shop) Since I'm not fluent it was a bit hard.

    Hoping Paper 2 goes well!
    Good luck everyone!

Thought it was a very fair paper. I wrote the essay about getting the text from a random number...I wrote about being invited to a bad party and ending up in hospital XD

Does it matter if you copied most of your answers for the comprehension from the text? Did it in mocks and got nearly full marks:cool:

For ordinary level no it doesn't matter, for higher level some examiners penalise heavily for copying straight from the comprehension.

Overall I was happy with the comprehensions and postcard. Postcard was a nice standard one. The blog post thing was nice and easy too but then came the letter and it was something I had personally never seen before in the past exam papers, a lost dog... I dragged it out in the end but I learned a lot of phrases for things like the people were nice, the sun was splitting the rocks and then they ask about a lost dog. (By the way this is ordinary level)

Very, very unhappy with listening... There was some group of idiots who shuffled chairs and started to sniffle for the first section of the listening, probably got 0 on the first page thanks to them. What was worse was as soon as the CD was finished they stopped so it was obviously numpties thinking they are the coolest people to not care about anything...

I did I did grand. All I said for the dog part was, "Bhí mo madra imithe" and sort of stretched that the whole way out. Think I did pretty well. I hate those Northern accents....no offense to anyone of course but they're so hard to understand!

I did online racing with someone from Northern Ireland for about a year, I'm used to the accent by now.

I hoping the French aural now won't be screwed up because of idiots because I want the A in the French so badly...

I just find it hard to understand :P
    I don't do French, I do German!
Listening in German isn't normally too hard I don't think.

Alright, paper two was a disaster!

I think I did great on the unseen stuff and studied poetry.

For studied fiction, I didn't know what the themes meant because I never seen them :o. I just looked at the list our teacher gave us weeks ago and none of the themes that were on studied pros were on the list of themes she gave us . I did theme (f), I think it was bulai. Can someone tell me what that was ? XD

Good thing i've studied the gra sample answer for poetry, I think I got 30/30 for studied poetry .

I didn't understand the letter too, I only knew what the jist was for A and C XD. I did A, I wrote about a youtube video I saw lol. Is that what I was meant to do? I followed the points obviously and wrote a letter to a pen pal as I had a opening prepared :D.

I feel sick after going through that! :(

Oh wow! My answer had nothing to do with bullies XD. How many marks would I lose? All 30?!:eek::eek:

Paper 1 was grand, lovely paper but Paper 2 was a bit strange I don't know why it just seemed different to the last couple of papers over the years. I think grand over all. Did my letter on the band, seanaois as my poem questions, duine cabhrach for story and I think I did fine in the Prós and the unseen stuff *fingers crossed for an A :P *

Well what did you think "Bulai" was, the examiner might be able to salvage some marks if you something related to school maybe

Nothing related to school but related to teenagers and a football team... I feel dumb now XD It seems obvious now that that meant bullies ><. Looks like passing Irish is down the drain ...

Don't worry about it, one of my friends thought the exam was 2 hours and didn't get unseen poetry or the pros done.

For all you people who are worried about Irish, unless you want to do Irish in college or move to the Gaeltacht it's unlikely you will be ever using Irish after the Leaving :)
