Which should one play first? Does it matter?

Nah, it doesn't matter. You'll get a code at the end of the first one no matter what order. Just input it before you start the 2nd.

The Zelda Oracle games are available from the 30th, and are going to cost €4.99 each as a special offer until the 20th June. After that they go up to €5.99. Denpa Men 2 is also available, among other things.

No sign of the Zelda offerings on the eshop yet, the others are up though...

just checked now, They're up, with a new catagory for them and their sale price.

Still haven't finished Links Awakening or Minish Cap. And there's Luigi's Mansion, Fire Emblem and Monster Hunter to finish... I can't really justify this... but I do have €11 credit.... Damn you Nintendo!

Total pita having to turn off the firewall to let the 3DS function with the eShop. I've tried adding it's mac address to the list of trusted computers, tried creating a new firewall rule etc, nothing seems to work! Damn UPC

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,120 ✭✭✭✭Star Lord

I never had any problem with it on my UPC connection... But then again, I don't use the modem firewall!

I just finished Ages for probably the 4th time ever (I used to own the games). Total time 14 hours spent on the game. For €5 I can't recommend it enough. I only got 13.5 out of New Super Mario Bros 2

I'm considering that but the price seems to be about double the digital price so I'm finding it hard to justify.

Yeah its a bit of a pill to swallow, but the collector in me says it just might be worth owning this limited edition Ninty game that prob won't sell in huge numbers given the digital download alternative. This could be one of those things that goes up in value once the run is finished, & if its not, hell, it's another properly boxed Wii U game :)

Does the boxed one include the original game though? As I'd imagine it'd have to be playable without the existing content, as opposed to the DLC version.

Nope, just contains the engine and whatever it needs to run!

It's standalone in that it doesn't need NSMB to run, but it doesn't include NSMB either.

    This weeks:
    Nintendo eShop (Wii U)

Wii Fit U Trial Version (Nintendo, available Nov. 1) - 31-day free trial version of Wii Fit U
Take your fitness routine to the next level with Wii Fit U, exclusively for Wii U. Work out with new exercises that use the Wii U GamePad, Wii Balance Board or both, as well as returning exercises from Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus. The combination of the Wii Balance Board and Wii U GamePad creates all-new body training possibilities - and Wii Fit U has plenty of new activities that'll get you working out in a fun and engaging way.

Starting on 1st November, Wii U owners can download a complete trial version of the game and get a head start on their New Year's fitness goals by trying out all the activities found in the game for 31 days - at no cost. All you need is a balance board and a Wii U system with a broadband Internet connection.

The Wii Fit U Trial Version will be available to download free of charge from Nintendo eShop between 1st November and 31st January 2014 and will work for 31 days from the day it is first played. Using the software, users can stay active with 77 different activities, including 19 new training activities, many of which take advantage of the Wii U GamePad controller. Users who want to continue using Wii Fit U beyond the 31-day trial period can unlock the time restriction by synching a Fit Meter accessory (available at retail) with their trial version of the Wii Fit U software. This will allow them to continue playing Wii Fit U for an unlimited time. The Fit Meter will be released on 1st November in a choice of colours including Black, Red and Green.

The paid download version of Wii Fit U will also be available on Nintendo eShop from 1st February 2014.
