I got a Sealey 3000CXD Yankee 3 Tonne Jack as my €22 aldi jobie couldn't get the MR2 to an acceptable height - first impressions astethically :P it dwarfs even the halfords 3 tonne jack! It's a fair old weight as well.

It'll get it's first look in tomorrow when I fit my missing brake shim

Car is gonna be sitting up all day tomorrow so im tempted to wash it sans nct and give it a coat or two of meguiars ultimate liquid wax (just because it smells so nice)

    This detailing lark, it's addictive

Will you report back on what the alloy wheel seal is like? Am I right in thinking that it's basically a spray on sealant so that the dirt does't adhere to the surface?

That seems to be it, I put it on earlier so you can have a look at my wheels on Thursday. At that stage they'd usually be caked again. Especially if I'm giving it a bit of boot in the hills.

Just looking at some dudes build thread on his sierra saphire. He spent months getting it like this. The level of detail is incredible. Pics of his photo shoot from fast ford:

Yeah should have told you, take about 80% of the rapid detailer and put it into another container and dilute the remaining 20%...:o

It is indeed an addictive thing though, the need to keep the car clean and spotless is unreal...:D
