if someone was given a suspended sentence and given two years probation what are the terms that the suspended sentence could be activated? does the person have to commit another crime, be arrested and found guilty before the sentence kicks in or can the sentence be activated without another crime or trial taking place?

Being convicted of another offence of breaching any terms that were given with the sentence.
