Analog Phone over LAN (Internal VoIP)

As you know but just for the record Analogue phones are 50V DC 72VAC Ringing type of instruments.
They wont work from a fibre.
If your telephone system can provide SIP then you could add SIP to Analogue phone boxes (domestic type would do - netgear etc.)
The only other way would be to provide a 'remote shelf' off your telephone system - it might not be possible in your case.
Failing all of that you would need to provide copper pairs to the remote buildings.

    Ha ha - copper - I know.... :)

You could try blackbox.com but their prices can be a bit offputting.
I have a colleague who is a specialist in the 3000 range.
I can PM you his details if you like and you can run it by him.

Also on the 4K there is a device called an AP1120 which gives you 2 analogue devices over the network (fibre)
but I dont know if they work on the 3K which is what you have.

This seems more VOIP specific, and the VOIP mods agree, so moved from Net&Comms.
