64 for the week, 2246 overall. nice little surprise 2 bp's for sagna.

won €100, came close for €600, closed a 90 point gap from about 5 weeks ago down to 10 or so but not to be. after that poor guy in the europa league thread lost out on a 10 grand prize in the last minute i won't complain about my one, kinda glad i lost out by a few points rather than 1 or 2.

57 for the week after bonus points.

Sturridge (c) was a large downfall.

Bale was the obvious choice :pac:

Had Bale, Walcott & V. Persie and ended up choosing Sturridge.

Probably my first week not having 1 of them 3 as captain, save for maybe a week w/ Mata as it.

dreadful week 41 pts reckon I may slip out of top 5k .On paper had a class team going into the week but as usually happens in this game when u expect a big score u end up having a shocking week.

43 pts, one under the average. That last moment captain change has cost me huge.

2202. delighted with that. highest ever score. though doubt i'll beat my highest position 2 years back of 7k

57 points. Bad idea to change captain from RVP to Walcott. Too late when I decided to switch to Bale. Also I had no goalkeeper playing. Nice to get 10 bonus points though.

Definitely wont get inside the top 7K with that score I'm afraid

    Bale was obvious as captain.

but Walcott was just as good a pick IMO against a usually shít Newcastle.

if he'd scored his sitter, there'd have been little between them.

    still a little peeved!

The good: trying to decide all week what transfer to make, decided this morning to take a hit and do Santi and lukaka to michu and Sturridge, before hit confirm told myself don't be daft taking a hit, your 9 points clear in main money league, no point helping rivals so done Santi to couthino instead!!

The bad: another last minute change of mind saw Maloney start in my team and lukaka start as first sub.

The ugly: Clichy didn't play so Davies came on instead of first sub lukaka!!

Can't complain much though, think I'll end up somewhere in the 600's and win my 2 money leagues putting me around €750 up, best season ever by a country mile.

Just looking at what team I had in GW1 and I've spent a good 5 minutes laughing. I remember I used the Wildcard in week 4 and was always planning on bringing in RVP or Rooney just waiting to see who'd play but yikes this was awful :pac:
    De Gea (Cerny)
    Lescott-Ivanovic [an exception]-Hangeland (Harte-Dawson)
    SWP-Pienaar-Guthrie-Valencia (McClean)
    Tevez-Jelavic-Torres

Wow...it's no wonder I did so bad this year :pac:

League not updated yet, on 2179pts, won one private league by 3 pts,Captain Bale to the rescue, 2nd in another by 6 points, considering he was about 60 pts ahead and I was 4th in that league up until 2 weeks ago, I'm happy enough. :-)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,560 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Overall league updated, finished in 6553 position, a big drop from last years 524th. But delighted considering I was in 32K position back in gameweek32.

Finished 2924th. Very happy with that. It'll be hard beat next season I think.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,758 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    finished 260th.

fúcking Walcott's miss cost me my top 250 spot I was hoping for as I thought.

it made my switch of captaincy from Bale very costly.

thems the breaks in this game though.

    absolutely delighted with the season.

59 for the week. A total of 2324 for the season. 549th for the season.

A lot of what could have beens but happy with a consistently strong season.

Making my wildcard at about 3 on the first Sunday of the season was the makings of it.

Finished 1266 happy with that .

Finished 58,655 which is crap but considering I was 160,475 at the end of GW32 after those much fabled 8 absent GWs. I set a target of 70,000 6 weeks ago so I've got to be relatively pleased. I have my bigtime experience now for next season.

A disappointing 41k (after last year's debut 7k) but I won a league that mattered with today's bonuses. That's the moral victory I'll use to motivate myself next year.

Bye all for another 2 months. It's been a pleasure!

Finished on 2225 at position 7822. Happy with that. Won my private leagues so am 1k better off.

Mod edit: I asked ye not to mention this cup again. Deleted. Please stop.

Finished in 1955 in the world. Would have been happy with that at the start of the season but found myself in a position I had never been in...chasing a lead in a league that mattered. Was in top 1k for an age but buckled. Pretty much coasted my last 2 years but was chasing a 20-30 gap this year and focused too much on who other players had and not on my own.

Lesson learned. Last 3 years, finished around 4k, 5k and 2k. Consistent.

Finished 45,177th. Happy with that considering this is only my second season playing the game and I finished outside the top million last year. The improvement is mainly down to the advice from the experts on here. So thank you folks.

I really enjoy this forum, some very knowledgeable people on here and there is some good laughs to be had too. I'll miss it terribly, I won't know what to be doing on a Saturday now.

    Roll on August 17th... :D

Michu is the only player that I had all season. Finished 6700 last year so the jump up to 203 is a massive improvement. Great standard in the boards league.

Finished 1 place ahead of me! I was very close to bringing in Coutinho for Fellaini but decided to go for Sturridge instead. If I'd gone for Coutinho I might well have broken the top 200, or at least come very close, but I'm still delighted with this season.
