    It seems like there's a B&Q thread every few days on this forum. When does it stop being a bargain alert and start just being normal pricing?

    Not a single bag of horticultural grit,lawn sand or even a bag of manure to be had in B&Q Airside.

    I was told that they dont sell grit.

    Absolutely shocking,considering its now the height of the gardening season for alot of people.



    Grit and manure is just as important as compost.

    Almost sure I saw lawn sand on the way in the door beside the grass rolls.

    That was verve top soil.

    Verve compost was on the other side of the door/entrance

    how could you get grit cheaper elsewhere when you said b and q don't sell grit ?

    Eh...I also said Manure...which B&Q do sell sometimes,when they have it.




    I dont understand why B&Q Airside dont sell horticultural grit,as its just as important as compost and manure.



    Their loss at the end of the day.

    Got 52 rollls of grass turf a BBQ and some other bits... ended up saving nearly 100 euro on items I was going to buy anyway!

    Was in Tallaght B&Q and picked up Westland Aftercut Lawn feed and Conditioner (500m2), thinking it was €15.99 according to the shelf edge label.
    It scanned at €13 so with 20% off, it was €10.40. Thought this was a good price

    Got 8 100L bags of bark for €50. 10.60 each and 3 for 4.

    Usually €120 but down to €80 and then got another 20% off that.
    Got the last one in Liffey Valley so there may not be many more around.
