Unveiling Of Statue Of Monsignor Horan

It was a wet morning but it cleared for the unveiling of Monsignor Horan's Statue this morning up at Knock Airport. The sun came out and a plane took off as the statue was being unveiled, a fitting tribute!

To me it doesn't look a lot like him. Looks more like a man in a suit than Mons Horan.

Disappointed with the sculptor, why did they not put his famous cap on him?
as in the iconic photo below. Bad miss by the sculptor.
