Some of the registrations in this thread may well be "interesting" but certainly raise issues.

And so they should. Locking down the NCT post 1980 was a mistake. And the ZV and year plates are also a disaster now too which only compounds the problem. It's not just a tax dodge, it's often an aesthetic thing also.

Where are the IVVCCC to push for a decent historical registration series. And not reissues of the old ones, which is the same thing as ringing, but unused series, of which there are a few. It's quite unbelievable that no one has kicked up a fuss about the year plates for older stuff.

I knew of a yellow RS2000 reg zb 6666 if my memory serves me right,would have been around the bray area more than 15 yrs ago

I agree 100%!
The ZV and Year plate systems are totally wrong for pre-1987 vehicles.
A new/improved system is long long overdue.

seriously, I want to be buried in that Dodge. AWSOME lines, chrome bumpers and headlights look like an angry person growling at you. The fins are something else aswell.

560 SEL merc with 88WD560 was for sale in Mercedes Enthusiast a couple of months back
AI 1, mark 2 golf, was on donedeal a few months back too.

The reg 88-WD-560 is my dads old car, he died back in 1992, it was sold onto a guy in cork who had it for 10 years, then moved onto to another cork guy. I've been trying to locate it for years with the intention of buying it back. Any link to the for sale add or know where it went?
