This morning I rediscovered my old Last.fm account from 2008, back in my Billy Corgan loving days. I had totally forgotten about this song and how much I love it:

Also, the other day I bought Django Django's album on a whim based on a Last.fm recommendation and I'm super glad that I did. This is definetly a stand-out track on it:

Listenin to a lot of new stuff in preperation for Electric Picnic. Seems like there is a lot of very cool bands that I had never really looked into or even heard about going to be there!

These gals seem to only have 1 EP which was released in March, would like to hear more of them but this one is a cracker!

These guys seem like they will be absolutely great fun live and they remind me of college....for......reasons :pac:

Will definitely be looking into their album after hearing this tune.

It's a lot of fun alright. I'm very fond of Yonder is Closer to the Heart as well. Might get a Sunday ticket if three of Parquet Courts, My Bloody Valentine, Eels and David Byrne & St. Vincent play that day. Think Longitude nicked a good few of the EP-esque acts I'd like to see.

Actually, just looked up Longitude again - Mark Lanegan, Modest Mouse, Kraftwerk and Japandroids are all playing on the same day (Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Hot Chip probably worth a gander as well). Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan. Gotta find my debit card.

Was meant to be in Whelans at the start, then it got moved to Vicar St. Some extra tickets might have been available after the move of venue, not sure about that though.
