Sorry if this is a silly question:confused:
just got back from NYC and stocked up on some cheap clobber:D
bought several hilfiger polo shirts, jumpers and jeans, just wondering what the small rectangular thing sewn into the inside of the polos and jumpers is??
It says to remove before wearing or cleaning,it seems to contain a metal strip, obviously this isnt of huge importance but just curious what it is and why the jeans dont have them:confused:

It's a RFID tag used to track inventory.

As the above poster said - better to cut them out as they can trigger security barriers here.
