synthetic or Composite 4 x 4 post

    Has anyone seen synthetic or Composite 4 x 4 posts for sale

    Will be building frame for deck, normally I would use treated 4 x 4 's to support the deck

    the 4 x 4 sits in concrete , concerned that over time post will detoriate , even though pressure treated

    The posts will not be used to support hand rails, ie will not be visible , the posts will be under deck, so appearance not an issue

    Why sit the post in concrete? Get one of those galvanised sockets (don't know real name) and concrete that in place, then slot in your tanalised post and bolt it in place.
    I'll try and find a pic to explain.
