Bad ad overall with little info, poor photos and no photo at all of the front of the car always makes me a bit suspicious...

Either the seller is a chancer, or a genuine seller with no clue how to place an ad!

Italy had a fair few interesting cars with 2l engines due to the tax rule. These also included 2l versions of the Ferrari 308/328, some of them came with a turbo. I think it's still the smallest displacement V8 ever built but that could have changed since.

They were popular imports in Germany for a while in the 90's as they were so undesirable that they only achieved about 60% of the price of a "proper" 308/328. They were badged as "208", the father of a mate of mine had one, it was quick enough, a nice place to sit and with the badging changed to "308" nobody really knew the difference.

Not just exotica: Stuff like this existed too. Essentially a sub 2 litre M3. Aimed at the Portuguese and Italian markets

Always liked those cars. Its safe to assume that car is an import too, given the spec. Honest ad, with that mileage its safe to assume it hasn't been clocked(well im only guessing :P)

Class car. 2.5 tax on top of 25mpg would be hard to stomach though. Pity the AWD is so hard on juice.

I posted it a couple of weeks back. Thought it was half interesting at that money.

Same cannot be said for the following effort..!

Still, pile of test asking €600.

If it's half decent its a cheap motor till next Feb.

VRT probably around the 600 mark. Although the ROS website doesn't give an option for LPG so it's hard to know what they'd value it at.

E46 318i with Cream leather and NCT 1/14 for €1695. Could do with a polish but otherwise looks clean. No mileage specified though so probably massive.

No tax because it isn't on Irish plates and as I read it it has MOT until 2014 which is the equivalent of the NCT AFAIK. Sounds good enough to me...

It's only worthless if planning on selling it to make money back.
