As far as I recall when i regd with ebay i put none for postal code because i do not have one. But there is a d number on my address. is this something they add or is it that their system cannot handle the word none?

As far as I know they add it and it is D for Default.
For instance my address always has Default at the end.

I laugh whenever I get post which has Co. Cork Default lol

I usually put 0000 in these forms.

Some poor postie is trying to figure out where the village called Default is, "ah yes, its a few miles from Nonapplicable."

I used to use n/a, and like the others, it would appear at the end of the address. A little less confusing perhaps.

totally frustrated today. try to register again with ebay. Do not use it often so I had forgotten my password so I clicked forgotten password and entered my email. got back message saying my email was not registered so I started from scrach and then... was told my email was registered already. so,, got an new email address and now it will not accept any postal code I put in.. I dont have a postal code. have tried all the usual ie, none, 0000 etc
what will I do now? can anyone advise please
