Fianna Fáil PRO [Stephen Kearon] has withdrawn his name from internal affairs following on-line comments made in the wake of the death of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

Stephen has been forced to apologise on Twitter (@skearon) but the former advisor to Dick Roche has never been far from controversy including the below from journal.ie

Stephen Kearon - a Fianna Fail member - at the same time as calling for spending cuts, was outed for charging €3250 for a year's hosting of ONE website. When it's a government site (Dick Roche's) you can get away with this - despite calls for "spending cuts".

For Fianna Fail, the more things change, well, the more they stay the same.
